Trustees

  • Barbara Altounyan: Founder

I hope to be the source of inspiration and guidance for the future success of our unique nationwide charity.

  • John Greenwood: Community Outreach

As a journalist and longstanding Hospice Biographer at St Joseph’s Hospice,  I feel proud to be asked to hold a trustee's position in the Stories for Life charity.

I see the job as promoting the charity through spreading information about us, encouraging people to give their time and energy, explaining how to record, teaching recording techniques to get the stories of as many people as possible as they approach the end of their lives.  People love to hear what we're about, SfL is young charity which I hope will spread soon round every part of the UK.

  • Yos Noor: Systems Analyst

I hope to use my considerable tech and customer data collation experience to further the aims of our charity.

  • Phillip Loutsis: Business Development

My focus at Stories for Life is collaborating with the team to help in shaping the charity into a sustainable, long-term organisation that consistently delivers on its mission.

  • Ayla Ronald: Philanthropy and Legal

I’m a corporate litigation solicitor, originally from New Zealand. I grew up sailing the seas and travelling the world, so developed a love of story telling and appreciation of what different people have to say about their experiences.

My role is to share this enthusiasm and help others understand and appreciate the amazing stories everyone has to tell, and how Stories for Life brings these out.

  • Debbie Usiskin: Training

Using my qualifications, skills and experience to develop and source training ensuring everyone at Stories for Life is ready to help us reach our potential.

  • Grace Hinde

Grace Hinde: Digital Acquisition and Conversion Manager

Having worked in the digital fundraising sector for over 10 years, I will use my expertise to increase online income for S4L, while also raising the awareness of our organisation.

We will do this by targeting various audiences on social media with paid advertising, asking individuals to donate to continue the work we are doing in addition to discovering new corporate partners to come on board and work with us.

  • Conor Musoke-Jones

Conor Musoke-Jones: Digital Designer and Educator for Canva

I have years of experience turning data and information into meaningful communication and understanding. I'm here to help us communicate our message and mission clearly across all our channels so we can help as many people as possible tell their stories.
