• You are an organisation. We’d love to chat with you.

You are an organisation that cares
for those who are end of life.

Our new expanded mission is to offer our service to all those who are end of life no matter where they are receiving care. By training your team to record life stories or linking with our own specially trained regional Biographers you can offer an invaluable additional service to your patients. We would love to team up with you.

We’d love to hear from you.

  • “What can I say about the Stories for Life project? It is simply amazing and a great concept for people wishing to record their history, their thoughts and feelings, their joys and their fears.” Jan Francis, Transformation Manager St Francis Hospice

From The Hospice Biographers to Stories for Life

Our story began when Barbara Altounyan, our founder, recorded her father’s life story. After seeing first-hand the therapeutic benefits for him as well as her siblings and children, Barbara was determined to help others record their life stories too.

The Hospice Biographers was created in 2017, training volunteers in hospices to become biographers. Having realised how much pleasure people have got from our service we are now changing our name to Stories for Life to continue in our mission to give everyone in the later chapters of their life the opportunity to record their life stories in more care settings.
